Join our growing company! We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM) that will develop and implement timely and creative strategies and programs for sourcing and recruiting talented candidates to join the Metro team. The TAM manages the full life-cycle recruiting process for internal and external positions. The TAM partners with managers to deliver best in class talent acquisition practices and strategies and workforce planning. Promotes Metro as an employer of choice with prospective candidates.

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Source and screen and act as key contact for candidates; coordinate interviews, background checks and hiring process.
  • Develop qualified talent pools across the credit union via creative sourcing and industry events/networking.
  • Partner with HR Management to develop an “Employer Value Proposition”, establishing Metro as an employer of choice.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System for screening, sourcing and reporting of applicant pool and resulting metrics.
  • Ensure all recruitment and hiring practices are in accordance with federal and state employment law ensuring fair employment practices.
  • Participate in talent management process at MCU working with the HR Team to drive mobility and development of the MCU associates.

Our hybrid work arrangements require a minimum of 2 days/week on-site in our Chelsea location, managed within each department.  All new hires are required to onboard for a minimum of 30 days on-site in Chelsea.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field required
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience required 
  • Experience with web-based recruiting tools, including social media, job boards and applicant tracking systems
    • Specific experience with Ceridian Dayforce preferred 


  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi task.
  • Excellent PC skills with strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Applicant Tracking Systems and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal, State, local laws and regulations relating to employment and human resources.
  • Detail oriented and excellent follow through skills.
