 The President of myCUmortgage, LLC, has executive responsibility for myCUmortgage, LLC, (myCU) a wholly owned subsidiary that provides mortgage solutions to credit union clients across the country including developing and providing strategic direction, vision, leadership, and management that advance the delivery of the organization’s vision, mission, strategic initiatives, and brand promise of myCUmortgage. This is an executive leadership position reporting to the myCUmortgage Board of Directors.

  • Serves as President of myCU, a wholly owned mortgage company serving a national market of credit union clients and works with the myCU Board of Directors to delivery upon the vision and mission of the company.
  • Develops, approves, and implements strategies, budgets, and plans for growing the lending and servicing credit union client base and associated loan volume, optimizing operational performance, and delivering extraordinary service to myCU clients and Partners.
  • Lead and oversees performance of the company to ensure myCU meets performance goals and financial targets set by WPCU as sole owner of the organization. This includes monitoring and reporting on business activity and amending strategies and plans as required by changing circumstances.
  • Ensures myCU operates in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and rules for all aspects of mortgage lending and servicing.
  • Creates an environment of collaboration and continuity that fosters the development and prepare subordinates and other highpotential employees throughout the organization for advancement through training, coaching, and feedback, with a focus on developing leadership and strategic skills.
  • Attends meetings of the WPCU Board of Directors and presents investor relations report.
  • Ensure assigned business units are operating efficiently and reliably, are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and rules, have appropriate operating controls to mitigate risk, and are performing at a high level and profitability.


The President of myCUmortgage, LLC, must possess working knowledge and strategic leadership experience in mortgage banking, processing, underwriting, secondary marketing and servicing, and must also have extensive experience in credit union In addition:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is required (master’s preferred). Candidates with nonbusiness degrees may qualify with considerable experience in the primary areas of responsibility.
  • At least ten years of strategic leadership experience in mortgage banking, mortgage originations, fulfilment, operations, and mortgage servicing is required.
  • At least five years’ experience in credit union executive leadership is preferred, including experience managing and leading high-level supervisors.
  • Possesses all required NMLS, State, and Safe Act Licensing requirements as required for control purposes.
  • Clevel written, and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Excellent analytical and writing capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines as well as HMDA, Fair Lending, ECOA, TIL, and RESPA consumer laws required.
  • Ability to motivate, influence, and collaborate with others. Team builder.
