Requirements

Responsibilities:

•         Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals and businesses in accordance with professional and firm standards
•         Prepare financial statements
•         Communicate directly with clients to address questions, gather information, and provide updates
•         Train and mentor junior staff members
•         Demonstrate proficiency with accounting and tax software, and assist in optimizing software use across the team
•         Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
•         Assist with other accounting and administrative projects as assigned

Qualifications:

•         CPA license or currently pursuing CPA certification
•         Prior experience in accounting or a related field
•         Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
•         Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
•         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•         Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
