Position Summary
Southeastern Credit Union is seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer to join their team. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, provides strategic leadership to advance the credit union’s mission of improving members’ financial lives. The CFO oversees all financial and accounting functions, including asset-liability management, budgeting, financial reporting, investments, risk management, compliance, audit, and vendor management. This role ensures accurate financial records and reporting, guides investment and rate decisions, and serves as liaison with regulatory examiners and auditors. The CFO drives innovation, risk oversight, and long-term financial vision while supporting a world-class member experience. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline, along with at least 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within the credit union or financial services sector, is required; an advanced degree/CPA is preferred.

Requirements
