JOB SUMMARY
The Investment Officer (IO) will be responsible for overseeing the investment strategies and portfolios of Koss Olinger’s clients. The IO leads a team of investment professionals, develops the firm's overall investment philosophy, and ensures that the investment processes and strategies meet client objectives, risk profiles, and regulatory standards. This role requires strategic insight, investment knowledge, and an understanding of client needs, coupled with a commitment to delivering strong investment performance.

- Oversees and manages client portfolios to ensure they are diversified and aligned with our clients’ financial objectives, adjusting investments based on market conditions and client preferences
- Leads bi-monthly Investment Advisory Committee (IAC) meetings to provide regular commentary of portfolio performance, market trends, and investment recommendations
- Conducts in-depth research and analysis on market trends, economic conditions, and potential investment opportunities to inform decision-making
- Identifies and mitigates risks associated with client portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing exposure to various asset classes
- Actively participates and oversees the development, implementation and execution of investment department and leadership projects/initiatives
- Participate in the vetting, onboarding, training and monitoring of investment team talent
- Work effectively with compliance and regulatory agencies to maintain records, fulfill information requests and satisfy business needs
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration
- Master’s in Business Administration (preferred)
- Maintain CFA® designation
Work Experience
- 7+ years of similar or related experience

- Possesses a blend of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethical standards, with an unwavering commitment to acting in the best interests of clients and adhering to fiduciary duties
- In-depth understanding of investment strategies, including risk management, portfolio diversification, and asset allocation across different asset classes
- Familiarity with sophisticated financial instruments
- Comprehensive knowledge of global financial markets, economic indicators, and market drivers that influence asset prices
- Deep understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic factors, geopolitical events, and their impacts on investments
- Understanding of regulatory environments, compliance rules, and fiduciary duties
- Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating various types of investment risks, including market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards, portfolio performance metrics, benchmarks, and valuation techniques
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and market trends
