We are seeking a Property/Casualty Insurance Program Manager who will oversee all 30 property/casualty insurance programs and renewals each fiscal year and who will report to the RMTD Administrator/Chief Risk Officer. These programs include, but are not limited to, aircraft, airports, auto, boilers & machinery, crime/fidelity, cyber, fine art, foreign insurance (liability and kidnap/ransom), foster care, notary bond, professional liability insurance (student interns), property, special events, and surety bond. The division manages and supports these insurance programs on behalf of 57 agencies, 10 universities, and hundreds of boards, councils, and commissions. Many of these programs are central to the continuity of state agency/university operations.
This position will also support the Division’s Finance Officer/Underwriting Manager to gather and collect insurance applications, insurance schedules, actuarial loss cost data, update the division’s funding/rate model, and maintain the functionality and operation of the division’s technology platform known as the state Property/Casualty Insurance Information System (PCIIS).
