Our client is a fast-growing specialist insolvency advisory firm shaking up the way insolvency is done.

Right now, they're expanding and looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team and work on corporate insolvency engagements.

Location: Sydney, CBD
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 + super

What You'll Be Doing

• Running corporate insolvency files from start to finish
• Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members
• Investigating company finances and preparing reports
• Liaising with stakeholders: directors, creditors, lawyers, financiers
• Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance
• Helping recover funds and realise assets
• Conducting interviews and gathering key financial info
• Supporting business development and building strong client relationships

Requirements

• Between 3-5 years' experience working in insolvency
• A degree in Accounting, Commerce or similarCA or CPA qualified (or nearly completed)
• Solid knowledge of insolvency legislation and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Great communication skills and the confidence to work with clients
• A proactive attitude and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience supervising others is a plus
