Your new role
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, working closely with partners to deliver tailored solutions. You'll have direct client contact and the opportunity to build strong, long-term relationships across a diverse portfolio.
- Prepare and review tax returns, financial statements, and FBT submissions for a range of clients. Draft tax and accounting advice with precision and clarity, leveraging your deep technical knowledge.
- Contribute to business advisory assignments and help drive strategic outcomes for clients. Embrace AI tools and automation (including bots) to streamline processes and enhance efficiency on routine tasks.
- Work alongside partners in a collaborative environment where your input is valued. Make informed decisions with support from senior leadership, without carrying the burden alone.
- Technology & Systems: Use Xero for tax compliance, timesheets, and internal reporting. Most clients are also on Xero, making for a seamless workflow.
- Audit (Optional Involvement). There are opportunities to contribute to engagements with large family businesses.
- A minimum of 4 years' business services experience within an Australian accounting firm
- A degree in Accounting
- CA/CPA Qualified or close to completing
- Experience in accounting software (Xero, Myob, Quickbooks)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
