Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Overview:
We are partnering with a leading Investment Management firm who are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Finance team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a broad role, offering exposure across UK, US, and Asian entities, with a focus on management accounting, year-end reporting, and finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts across UK and US entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversight and coordination of financial reporting processes for Asian entities.
• Support in year-end statutory reporting and liaising with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Preparation of quarterly regulatory returns in line with FCA and other relevant regulations.
• Assist with group consolidations and reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP.
• Partner with wider Finance team on finance transformation projects, process improvement, and system enhancements.
• Provide insightful analysis and commentary on financial results to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting skills, with experience in management and statutory reporting.
• Prior experience within financial services, ideally Investment Management or Asset Management.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
