This position will be a remote role and report into our Atlanta office.
MMA provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals seeking limitless possibilities. A day in the life.
As our Senior Operations Specialist on the McGriff team, you'll provide guidance to teammates and to 3rd party vendors, to support firm growth and success. You'll manage projects geared toward meeting operational goals, adding efficiency, and driving excellence in client service and agency operations. This position will be a remote role and report into our Atlanta office.

Responsibilities include:
- Serve as subject matter expert for questions related to systems, procedures, workflows, and resources.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor adherence to procedures, standards, and workflows.
- Build and maintain relationships across business units, carriers, vendors, and outsourcing partners.
- Proactively identify and generate efficiencies and cost savings. Identify line of business challenges, provide support, and follow through to resolution.
- Lead and participate in project groups and collaborate with team members.
- Complete workload assessments for branch locations or third-party partners to provide guidance and recommendations.
- Remain abreast of current trends in insurance client service operations, standards, applications, workflows, and tools in order to support creation of an evolving and future focused delivery of client service.
Required Qualifications:
- College Degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
- P&C Insurance license required
- Five years' experience within the insurance industry
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to act with responsiveness, urgency and professionalism in all matters while prioritizing responsibilities and proactively accomplishing goals
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
- Knowledge of insurance specific systems and applications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without direct supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven knowledge of insurance systems including Sagitta, ImageRight, BenefitPoint, and Epic.
- Strong skills in workflow creation, refining workflows to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Experience participating in large-scale projects, including system implementations and conversions, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

- Experience as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong skills in resource management and training facilitation.
