Credit Union of Georgia has been part of the Northwest Georgia Community and has served the faculty, staff, and students of local school systems and institutions of higher learning and their immediate family members since 1960. The Credit Union, with over $300 million in assets, currently has six locations serving members in five counties.
Once a sleepy farming village, today’s Woodstock is a vibrant and diverse community boasting a world-class trail system, great shopping and dining options, and neighborhoods perfect for the suburban family all just 30 miles north of Atlanta. Woodstock’s City limits include more than 12 square miles and over 30,000 residents.
Company History
The Credit Union was established in 1960 to serve the faculty, staff and students of local school systems and institutions of higher learning. With a history of serving educators, Credit Union of Georgia has a passion for education and giving back to our local schools.
Today, Credit Union of Georgia has over 30,000 members who live, work, worship, and play in five counties north of Atlanta - Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Paulding, and Pickens.
