Company Overview
Our field of membership is open to employees and their family members of Sangamon County schools (including Springfield School District #186), various other area schools, Lincoln Land Community College, University of Illinois at Springfield, Horace Mann, and current members of the Illinois Education Association. Our intent and goal is to provide our members with the products, services, and “World Class” treatment that they so richly deserve. IECU has been successful penetrating our field of membership by consistently enhancing or adding to our products and services.
Company History
From its beginning in 1938, Illinois Educators Credit Union was founded as a closed field of membership for the benefit of those who work in the education field as well as their families. Today, IECU has approximately 7,100 members, assets totaling $50 million, 21 employees, and 2 full-service locations.
