With assets over $900 million and over 45,000 members, we walk alongside members on their financial journey, whether that’s getting back on their feet or moving on to a new chapter. Their goals are our goals and building stronger communities is what we do. Each year, AACU gives time, money, and resources to numerous community organizations, projects, and programs.
Company History
In 1955, Air Academy Federal Credit Union was created to serve the cadets, officers, and civilians of the newly established United States Air Force Academy at Lowry Air Force Base. In 2023, we updated our branding and name to Air Academy Credit Union (AACU) to better reflect our current expanded field of membership. Today we also serve educators, students, health care professionals, first responders, hundreds of small businesses and more.
Although our name has changed, our commitment to our members is stronger than ever. We’re a full-service financial institution who believes in providing custom, caring solutions to help you achieve your goals – no matter how big or small. All it takes to become a member is to open a Primary Savings account with $5. No matter where you're at in your financial journey, we’ll be with you every step of the way.
