Company History
The Credit Union was organized in 1939, as Fairmont Onized Federal Credit Union, to serve the employees of Owens-Illinois Glass Co.. Since this time, we have changed our name to Fairmont Federal Credit Union and expanded our membership charter to serve anyone living or working in Marion, Monongalia, Harrison and Taylor Counties and several select employee groups (SEGs) in Preston County. Our goal has been a sincere desire to help each other by providing a quick economical source of confidential credit, and by promoting thrift through a convenient, systematic savings plan.
