Company History
Multipli Credit Union is a unique financial institution. We strive to provide desired services to our members to the best of our ability by offering competitive rates on all services, while maintaining growth and stability. We are dedicated to responding to the needs of our members by providing personal financial services and using sound business practices that are competitive with the ever-changing economy.
The original name of the Credit Union was Springfield Gas, Electric, and Traction Employees Credit Union. Our name has changed over the years until the name CU Community Credit Union was adopted in April, 2005. In late 2012, we merged with Southwest Missouri Credit Union. Our name changed again in January of 2019 to Multipli Credit Union. The change was to show that not only do we serve City Utilities, but many Select Employer Groups (SEGs) and we welcome all people associated with those groups along with anyone living or working in Greene, Christian, Webster, Dallas, Polk, Dade, or Lawrence Counties.
The Credit Union’s membership is open to employees and former employees and families of City Utilities, Multipli Credit Union, Cox Healthcare System, Reckitt Benckiser, 3M, SRC and various other select employee groups and their family members. We adhere to the philosophy of "once a member, always a member!" The Credit Union wants to be a strong financial institution and expand services that meet the needs of our members.
