Company Overview

Pacific Service Credit Union was founded in 1936 by employees of Pacific Gas & Electric Company. Originally, membership was limited to employees of PG&E in the San Francisco Bay Area. There were nine directors, seven members of the credit committee and seven members of the supervisory committee who volunteered their time to operate the credit union.

At Pacific Service Credit Union, we pride ourselves on being a good corporate citizen and an active part of the communities we serve. Through our community involvement efforts, we provide charitable donations to local, non-profit organizations that support enriching and strengthening the lives of members in the communities we serve.

We focus on helping our communities by funding 501(c)(3) organizations concentrated on services for children, education, health & human services, and disaster relief.

Our competitive benefit package includes 100% paid medical, dental, vision, disability and basic life insurance coverage for full-time employees and eligible dependents. For our 401K retirement plan, we contribute 3% of your base salary to start. We match 75% of your contributions up to the first 3% of your eligible compensation after one year of service and up to 6% after three years of service.
